Wastop Valves to Panama

Althon have successfully supplied a number of stainless steel Wastop valves to the PSA Panama Internal Terminal Quay Expansion (Phase 2), Panama. Our Wastop valves are mounted inside pipework to prevent backflow of water up the pipe in times of flooding.

This is the second time Althon have supplied flow control equipment to Panama, having previously supplied a number of large HDPE flap valves.

Circular Pipe Mounted Gratings

Althon have launched a range of in – pipe mounted circular gratings in galvanised or stainless steel.

Our pipe mounted gratings are manufactured to suit pipework from 300mm and above and are hinged and lockable to allow maintenance and prevent unwanted access.

Althon Pre-fitted Headwall Accessories

Althon are able to pre-fit flow control devices such as flap valves, penstocks and Wastop valves to our precast headwalls.

All accessories are factory fitted at our works meaning the concrete does not have to be drilled on site. This saves time on the installation and has great health and safety benefits.

Along with other factory fitted accessories such as Kee Klamp handrails and a range of grating configurations our headwalls can be lifted straight from a delivery vehicle and installed very quickly and efficiently.
