SP21 E Headwall
SP21E precast headwalls are produced with a horizontal wing walls at the front of the apron. SP21E precast headwalls are for inlets or outlets situated in locations with high or steep embankments or where the structure is required to provide protection to an accessory such as a flap valve, duck bill valve, stop logs or weir wall. SP21E precast headwall has been designed to suit plastic or clay pipework up to 600mm and concrete pipework up to 675mm ID. It has a backwall height of 1350mm and a flat spillway. Althon SP21E precast concrete headwalls are cast in two pieces and to suit the diameter and type of pipe being used and can be provided with fixings cast in at the time of manufacture to accommodate gratings, trash screens, flap valves, ladders, guardrails and flow and depth monitoring equipment.
SP21 precast headwall units can be factory fitted with a range of accessories such as flap valves, penstocks, Kee Klamp® handrails and a selection of gratings depending on the application.
As standard our headwalls have a natural concrete finish.
We can offer coloured headwalls in 4 colours but the final shade is affected by many influences.
