Multiple Pipe Outlet Headwalls For Inverness Airport 

Althon have recently supplied several precast concrete headwalls to Inverness Airport including some of our angled headwalls, splayed headwalls and also 2No. SFA20B headwalls with 1000 x 500mm Toes. You will see in the image above that we are able to cast multiple pipe openings into any of our headwalls. Being able to cast several openings into one headwall means that you can have more than one pipe discharging out of a single precast headwall unit.

You can use our Headwall Specifier to find the headwall you require. On request we can provide pricing and design drawings for your chosen headwall with more than one pipe opening.

Bespoke Flap Valves for the Environment Agency

Althon have recently supplied two bespoke wall mounted HDPE/SS316L flap valves for The Environment Agency, Bideford. Each flap valve is for an opening size of 3050 x 1200mm.

Shoreham Airport (Brighton City Airport), Shoreham

Althon have recently supplied a H10CF headwall factory fitted with close coupled grating and kee klamp handrail then also a H28CC headwall factory fitted with 2 x 900mm penstocks, non-rising spindle, floor column, hand wheel, kee klamp handrail and cranked grating to Shoreham Airport. 

All accessories are factory fitted at our works meaning the concrete does not have to be drilled on site. This saves time on the installation and has great health and safety benefits.

Cronfeydd Gwydir Reservoir, Wales 

Althon have recently supplied several headwalls factory fitted with bespoke penstocks to Cronfeydd Gwydir Reservoir, Wales. 

Althon are able to pre-fit flow control devices such as flap valves, penstocks and Wastop valves to our precast headwalls.

All accessories are factory fitted at our works meaning the concrete does not have to be drilled on site. This saves time on the installation and has great health and safety benefits.
