Althon are now able to provide Header Beams and Wing Walls for Box Culverts. These units are designed for each specific situation. The Header Beam extends the full width of the culvert and is secured with Stainless Steel dowels with high strength non shrink grout. Depending on the loading we will provide a straight forward beam or an “L” beam where there are increased levels of fill or loading stresses. The Wing Walls are formed using “L” walls, they can be produced to any height and length required with a profile to match the surrounding ground profile. The loading is accommodated by the length of the toe which extends towards the retained area. The units are free standing and therefore any angle can be accommodated.
