Bespoke Gratings and Trash Screens

Althon can produce bespoke gratings and trash screens for in-situ structures and precast headwalls to any specification. Our gratings are typically manufactured in either galvanised steel, stainless steel grade 304 or grade 316. Other materials can be discussed if required.

Althon manufacture cranked gratings for use with flow control devices such as flap valves and penstocks, sloped gratings, trash screens and cage gratings. We can provide access hatches, walkways and safety rails. When supplied for use with our precast headwalls these products can either be pre-fitted to the units or we can provide the headwalls with the fixing points pre-drilled. This reduces installation time on site and is a significant health and safety benefit.

When producing bespoke items Althon will provide a quotation detailing the specification and on receipt of an order produce a drawing for approval prior to manufacture. When designing gratings with access hatches or other moving parts we can provide 3D visualisations.
