500 Mitred Headwall
The Althon 500mm mitred headwall is a fibre reinforced precast concrete open inlet allowing surface water runoff to enter SUDS features, or to act as an outlet or overflow. This headwall is designed for pipework up to and including 500mm ID.
The profile of the inlet 1:3 (18 Degrees) is the same as the surrounding ground in accordance with guidelines for the construction and adoption of swales and ponds.
Mitred headwalls are provided with a galvanised steel straight bar grating as standard.
The 500mm mitred headwall can be factory fitted with a 500mm inline non – return valve such as a WaStop if required
As standard our headwalls have a natural concrete finish.
We can offer coloured headwalls in 4 colours but the final shade is affected by many influences.
